DCE PRESENTS 550 DUAL DESKS TO GES FOR DISTRIBUTION

The District Chief Executive for Berekum West District Assembly Hon. Dominic Oppong has presented five Hundred and fifty (550) Metal Dual Desks to the District Education Directorate for onward distribution to Basic Schools in the District.

Presenting the Metal Dual Desks to the Education Directorate, the DCE charged the Heads for the schools to ensure the good maintenance and durability of the desks.

The Dual Desks were part of efforts by the Government and response of the DCE to the needs and challenges in order to enhance good teaching and learning in the District.  It was also part of Government’s Commitment to addressing challenges facing the Educational Sector in the area.

The District Education Director Mr. David Owusu Ansah who happily received the Dual Desks with appreciation  welcome and thanks  the District Chief Executive  that his outfit would ensure good supervision of the chairs to help the children to get proper place to sit to make teaching and learning effective.
