Objective of the Department

he primary objective of the Information Services Department is to educate and sensitise the Ghanaian Public on government policies, programmes and activities.

The ISD is responsible for the communication of government information, issues, facilitating answers to queries from institutions and individuals, and sharing government accomplishments with the public and media.

Our Services

Our services include but not limited to the following;

Public Education Campaigns:- Create awareness of government policies programmes and activities through effective communication strategies

Exhibitions/Videos:- Mounts high profile photo exhibitions and produces materials such as banners and photographic panel boards for national events

Photos:- Covers national and historical events in still form for archiving and keeps a photographic library with photographs on historical developments

Research:- Makes readily available for use processed and analysed data on a wide range of issues relevant to government across the Districts
