Basically we provide strategic direction for the achievement of the overall objective of the procurement function in the assembly. The Unit also ensures that the procurement activities are in harmony with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) this is in confirmation to managing the development and implementation of the procurement plan for the district. We also supervise stores management and assets disposal.

Not only do we Prepare and submit Annual and Periodic Reports to the Public Procurement Authority we again provide inputs for the preparation of the annual budget.
